Political mythology has always played a dangerous role in decision-making of governments. The frequent use of ill-defined terms like “Europe of nations” or “Christian world” demonstrates the irrational base of arguments. The author has, in over forty years, lived the experience of a French citizen in Germany and Austria, the birth of European laws and rules affecting his own, and his family’s life, and the differences of national mentalities, as they are transmitted in schools. As medical expert in social courts of justice in different European countries, he knows many of the traps hindering the way to Europe for the average citizen of a European country. This book is an attempt to demystify and pragmatize the arguing on the way to Europe, in order to establish a rational base for further decisions.
