Europäischer Bildungsraum

Education policy has become a Europeanized policy field. Yet there are complex interactions of policy making between the levels and there are notable differences in the loss of national sovereignty between the different individual policy fields (e.g. school, university, vocational training and early childhood education). Finally, there are processes of convergence or divergence in the European educational space(s).

The book is directed at people interested in European Studies, Educational and Welfare State Research and deals with topics from the spectrum of social sciences and is characterized by a broad, multidisciplinary perspective.
