Description
This conference volume contains contributions on current developments in European family and succession law. The conference was held in May 2019 in Heidelberg as part of EUFams II, a project funded by the European Commission, and brought together renowned academics and practitioners.

The role of liaison judges in international family law is highlighted by Martin Menne. Jens Kleinschmidt examines the European Succession Regulation from an academic perspective, while Rembert Süß assesses the same regulation from a notarial stance. Selected issues relating to the recently introduced Property Regimes Regulations are dealt with by Robert Magnus, while Stefan Schlauß presents the implementation of the new Public Documents Regulation.
