Europäisches Verwaltungsmanagement

The textbook outlines the conceptual basics of public task-, organizational-, personnel-, and financial- management, and illustrates them with examples from administrative practice in Europe. Perspectives for European administrative management are developed from an analysis of administrative management approaches at the systemic macro and micro levels of European states and European institutions. The publication is the result of a research project on institutional dynamics in the European administrative area. Empirical surveys were carried out in cooperation with the Council of Europe, the European Commission, and various national administrations.
