Fachberatung gegen sexualisierte Gewalt

The fight against sexual violence against children and adolescents has always been a contentious one. There have been attempts to deny the accounts of survivors and to disparage the work of specialized counseling centers as unprofessional. Nevertheless, the fight against sexual violence has become an indispensable part of society. This anthology examines the attacks directed at survivors and specialized counseling services, which strategies were successful, and what lessons can be learned. Survivors, counselors, researchers, and lawyers share their perspectives. It becomes clear that patriarchal and adultist structures in society give rise to sexual violence, and that the work to combat it is more necessary than ever.
