Festschrift für Franz Merli

Franz Merli is one of the few legal scholars to keep both a chronological and a systematic list of publications. The authors of the commemorative publication for his 65th birthday took this structure as a mandate to build on his contributions and positions. The result is a volume that thematically reflects Merli's work. The contributions deal with fundamental questions of democracy and the rule of law, they deal with key concepts of general administrative law and forms of administrative action, they examine current problems of administrative jurisdiction, administrative procedure and special administrative law, they look at European Union law and its interfaces with state law and take up questions of legal and constitutional theory.
