Young Academics: Soziale Arbeit
Description
The author examines the financial knowledge of social work professionals and the factors that influence it. These professionals often provide support when social problems arise. In this context, money plays a central role, either as the cause of the problem or as a means of overcoming it. This quantitative study examines the level of basic financial knowledge (financial and debt literacy) among social work professionals in German-speaking Switzerland, using binary logistic regression to analyse potential influencing factors. This study makes an important contribution to the promotion of financial literacy within the social work profession.
