In the third and final volume of the edition, the work of Franz von Gaudy (1800-1840) is presented in all its contrasting diversity: romantic, partly religious-pietistic texts at the beginning, tragic verse epics on political Poland and the traditional talking dog Berganza. Then the broad spectrum of satires: ironic ones on antiquity, sharp and amusing ones on the army, a grotesque Don Juan satire alongside the genre picture of a pure love of the soul.
