Friedenstheologie im Koran

From a Shiite-Islamic perspective, Narges Saeedi examines the theological foundations of a Peace Theology that prioritises human dignity and human rights over religious dogma. Employing an innovative hermeneutic and philosophical methodology, she explores the work of four key thinkers (Tabatabai, Javadi Amoli, Shabestari, Ghaemmaghami), who interpret reason, freedom, and natural principles as the ethical basis of Sharia law. The author demonstrates that religious systems are rooted in human principles, revealing that even traditional sources permit a modern interpretation of Islamic theology capable of contributing to world peace and interreligious dialogue.
