The Renewable Energy Act (EEG) imposes a variety of duties on system and facility operators. It remains unclear, however, how these duties interact with each other and which legal consequences can be applied to them.
The book at hand tries to offer a solution to the uncertainties arising from these problems. It analyses the structure of the duties in the EEG in two privities, network access and power feed-in, and shows that despite the statutory origin the structure of the duties is contractual. Based on selected problems the practical applicability of the findings is discussed. A special emphasis is put on the so called faulty network connection and the right of retention.
