Gott und Sprache

All kinds of predicates are attributed to God. However, it is not clear what meaning can be assigned to them when they are taken out of the human context and used to make statements about God. It is also often necessary to clarify how intended meanings can be derived from religious and theological expressions. This collection examines this array of questions from an interdenominational and interdisciplinary perspective and explores more recent as well as classical possible answers regarding their potentials and limitations.
