Governance und gute Rechtsetzung in der Energiewende

The transformational tasks of climate protection and energy transition require consistent governance in all areas of life and the economy. Governance through law, as a tool of the democratic constitutional state, has a central role to play here.
What governance options are available for the energy transition in terms of good regulation in the face of constant legislative changes and a fragmentary mix of instruments? This question was the focus of the 3rd Professor:innengespräch Umweltenergierecht in March 2024.
Professors of law, economics, and social sciences discussed good regulation from an economic perspective, the management of the energy transition in government practice, climate protection governance at the federal level and in the EU, the framework of legal behaviour management, the relationship between politics and expertise and the time factor in the transformation.
