Green leases and related contractual provisions are becoming increasingly common in commercial lease agreements. Nevertheless, obstacles to their implementation persist, as there is still no established case law for many types of clauses. This necessitates a legal analysis from the perspective of standard terms and conditions. This work examines existing research approaches and subjects them to critical analysis. On this basis, it develops drafting recommendations intended to facilitate the legally sound handling of various types of clauses.
