Description
In March 2024, the 6th Dialogue on International Family Law was held in Marburg. Under the overarching title of "Crossing borders and boundaries in international family law", representatives from academia and practice addressed current issues in international family, family procedural law and migration law. The focus was on foreign adoption and surrogacy as well as on the interface of migration and international family law. Out of court divorces, cross-border protection against violence and the habitual residence of cross-border commuters were also discussed. This volume brings together the papers presented at the conference and adds a contribution on the legislative project of a community of responsibility (Verantwortungsgemeinschaft).
