Grundrechtsbindung der Bundeswehr im Ausland

This study examines whether and to what extent the German army is bound by the basic rights of the german Basic Law on foreign missions and what consequences might arise from such an obligation, especially with regard to the necessity of a legislative basis. While the necessary parliamentary participation for the dispatch of military abroad has been regulated by law, the question of concrete powers is still far from being resolved. The question is particularly relevant following the intelligence service ruling of the Federal Constitutional Court.
