As the current situation clearly shows, democracy is not a natural state, not a matter of course—it is the result of a continuous struggle for participation, plurality and legal certainty. This anthology builds on this and brings together positions from various areas of society. It begins with conceptual considerations, followed by the question of what „corporate political responsibility" can mean in practice. Finally, its focus shifts to the responsibility of social actors. The book's interdisciplinary contributions invite readers from all areas of society to engage with democratic participation—especially in the economy.
