Description
Comparing the European Internal Market and international trade the book analyses the relations between trade liberalisation and its regulation with the aim of labour, health or environmental protection for the following examples: safety of technical products and food in the EU, telecommunication and health services, reduction of CO2-emissions of passenger cars, labour and social standards in international trade, private standards for the protection of public goods in world trade. The concept „capability of social regulation“ is used as normative standard for empirically working political scientists. For the legal control of the external effects of State actions, of the transnational cooperation between administrations and of the delegation of competences to private actors a three-dimensional concept of conflicts law is developed.
