Harmonisierung des Binnenmarktes

European integration is flourishing, particularly due to the deeper harmonisation of the European Single Market. However, the Single Market is currently being shaped by political, economic and social dynamics, which have recently been significantly affected by numerous crises, such as the market isolation of the Member States. In a continuously changing market environment, market control can hardly be successful by relying on an inflexible set of control mechanisms. This work examines and illustrates from a normative perspective the (market) control options in a market segment that is becoming increasingly relevant in the current post-industrial society, the so-called “Industry 4.0”: the service market.
