Description
This first volume of a seven-volume series illuminates the proposal of a philosophical correction in the thought of Martin Heidegger. The purpose of these corrections is to highlight themes that were particularly dear to Heidegger's philosophical analyses and that have not been adequately addressed in the scholarly literature. Indeed, as the author suggests, the point is to make an effort to understand Heidegger's philosophy before making rash condemnations and absolutizations, unlike some of the more topical articles on the subject of "Heidegger and politics." This kind of analysis is the only way to reconsider the tragic character of an essential section of his thought: the encounter with National Socialism.
Mazzarella's research draws the quintessence of a forty-year approach to Heidegger's thought.
