Whether and when a Third Vatican Council will take place is unclear at this point in time. However, following the conclusion of the World Synod convened by Pope Francis, it is clear that the Church will change. This book raises selected questions from various theological areas that a future council would have to address. With regard to dogmatics, morality, canon law, religious education, biblical studies and ecumenical cooperation, the authors address key issues that are representative of topics that a future council is likely to address.
