Humanbiologie evidenzbasiert vermitteln

Health literacy is regarded as a key skill for the 21st century. But how can pupils learn to critically evaluate health information and make scientifically informed decisions, particularly in the age of fake news? Drawing on evidence-based human biology, this work combines insights from health education, health literacy and evidence-based decision-making with the problem-based learning approach, based on a study involving trainee biology teachers. The work is aimed at researchers, teachers, trainee teachers, education professionals and anyone interested in innovative health education.
