Ideale der Menschlichkeit

Ideals of humanity must constantly be rethought, developed, and adapted to the respective era. This book contributes to the philosophical and theological justification and communication of such ideals of humanity. Inspiration and exemplary implementation are sought from a group of very different thinkers who can be summarized under the heading of “Austrohumanism.” The thesis is based on the assumption that there was or is a specifically Austrian tradition of humanism. The author presents this philosophical attitude, which is not limited to Austria but can enrich the international discourse on the universal question of humanity.
