Immaterialgüter und Digitalisierung

The digitalisation requires significant adjustments to the legal framework. First and foremost, data are progressively out-stripping physical objects as the most important economic goods. ‘Industry 4.0’ and the ‘Internet of Things’ are key transformers of the economy – leading to lasting effects on the way intangible goods are offered and used. The Freiburg conference of young scholars takes up these important issues. The essays assembled deliver a concise contribution to the current debate – both from an academic and a practical perspective. Central are the areas of IP Law, Media Law, Data and Data Protection Law as well as Competition Law. All contributors put an emphasis on the deep analysis of draft legislation and effective regulatory instruments in the digital age.
