Implementierung und Praktiken mobil-flexibler Arbeit in mittelgroßen Organisationen in Deutschland

This study examines the implementation processes and current practices of mobile and flexible work opportunities in medium-sized companies, including critical elements relating to legitimisation. It places emphasis on identifying potential barriers to such processes and conflicts that can arise from them as well as possible success factors in them. Its qualitative empirical investigation takes place within the framework of five explorative case studies and includes the individual, the organisational and the collective levels. The subsequent analysis, presentation of its findings and discussion take place on both an individual and a combined level, which results in an in-depth knowledge of both informal practices and influences, such as customer relationships, legal regulations or social comparisons and their impact on the implementation of formal regulations. This study then concludes with practical recommendations.
