This book is dedicated to the relationship between information, elections and democracy. Looking at Germany, but also at other countries, the authors focus primarily on citizens, their attitudes, interests and voting decisions. The role of contexts is also examined, in particular information contexts: How and with whom do people talk about politics? How do they inform themselves via new and old media? What roles do intermediary bodies play?
