Infrastrukturregulierung in Frankreich und Deutschland

At the moment, the public focus lays on the German Federal Network Agency concerning questions of energy supply and distribution. However, the Agency is also competent for issues concerning the national transport- and communication-sectors. These sectors are strongly determined by European law which demands a high level of independence for national regulators. In this context the study examines the development of the French network infrastructure regulators and their actual status of independence compared to the German Federal Network Agency to illustrate possible improvement regarding a stronger independence.
