Renewable energies have evolved from a mere niche technology to a fundamental pillar of the energy supply system within only a few years. This work addresses the resulting challenges and possible solutions within the framework of energy law. In this context, the functioning of the power market and the legal configuration of the balancing group system, EEG direct marketing and selected areas of application for electricity storage are examined in detail. In addition, some specific challenges in the marketing of renewable energies are examined. The book thus provides a comprehensive overview of the implementation of the energy transition in the power sector.
