Against the background of a current overview of the functioning and structure of OHADA as well as the development and status of labour law in parts of the OHADA legal area, this work deals with the content and methodology of the OHADA Labour Code project, which has been the subject of controversial debate for some time. In doing so, both the particularities and realities that characterise the working world of the OHADA member states and the integration approach to labour law developed by the EU are taken into account in a comparative manner. The aim of this monograph is to explore the framework conditions and options for action for such a project from a legal perspective and to provide impetus for a discussion.
