Description
How do public administration and civil society in rural areas address migration and migration-related diversi-ty? How is integration-relevant infrastructure distributed? Are there specifically rural shortcomings and po-tentials in migrant integration policies? To answer these questions, the study maps the accessibility of key integration infrastructure for all 35 rural counties of Baden-Wurttemberg (Germany). Subsequently, it trian-gulates the results with an online survey amongst all county administrations and with on-site research in four selected counties. The combination of quantified data and qualitative research creates a multifaceted picture of the needs and potentials of migrant integration policies and praxis in rural areas.
