This study of international crypto law creates a comprehensive overview for practitioners by systematically analyzing the issues, taking into account the technical specificities, in particular the blockchain. At the core of the work are the four issues examined, starting with mining, the issuance of new crypto assets in the context of an ICO, transactions on the secondary market, and prospectus liability in ICOs. From a legal point of view, the question of international jurisdiction under the Brussels Ia Regulation and the applicable law under the Rome I and II Regulations will be addressed in particular. In addition, aspects of capital market IPR are discussed.
