The anthology offers a valuable collection of perspectives from therapy, counseling, and research for (aspiring) professionals in the field of mental health (students, trainees, researchers, counselors & therapists, etc.). It presents unique, comprehensive intersectional perspectives for therapy, counseling, and research in the German-speaking world, examining experiences of discrimination and privilege, considering common competency models, measurement tools, and interventions, and integrating various therapeutic schools and counseling approaches in order to address social inequalities without losing sight of the broader societal challenges.
