In the tradition of previous editions, the 12th edition of the agricultural law yearbook sets its focus on the comparative agricultural law. This year’s emphasis of the publication ist placed on the Republic of Poland. The comparison with the Federal Republic of Germany is, for a variety of reasons, very promising: Poland has a much longer tradition in agricultural law than Germany. The Federal Republic on the other hand has 50 years of experience with the European Common Agricultural Policy of which Poland can benefit. The various contributions to the yearbook contain the entire variety of agricultural law: The agricultural enviromental protection, the diversification of agricultural activities, the law of associations, the agricultural energy law, the agricultural risk management, the instruments of the agricultural market and the European allowance law.
