The yearbook aims to promote the academic study of both left-wing and right-wing extremism as well as fundamentalism, and should be regarded as a forum for discussion, a reference work and an essential guide. This 28th volume of the yearbook comprehensively documents, comments on and analyses the developments in this field in 2015.
In addition to analyses, facts and documents, this book contains a review of the most important publications in research into extremism. Many of these focus on topical subjects such as the rise of the AFD in Germany and its extremist tendencies, the way right-wing extremists and jihadists feel their use of violence is justified, the campaign of terror waged by Islamic State and the development of extremism in Turkey.
