This book is concerned with job rotation and perceived organisational support (POS) in vehicle assembly in the automobile industry. It examines the question of whether job rotation and perceived organisational support offer resources in connection with mental wellbeing. To answer this question it illustrates the relationship between these potential resources and distancing from work and exhaustion. The book contains three field studies. Furthermore, it introduces a survey method, developed in the course of this work, for the collection of data on job rotation.
