Klaus Heinrich als Religionswissenschaftler

This volume provides an interdisciplinary analysis of a nearly forgotten modern classic in the field of religious studies. Adopting an interdisciplinary approach, the articles explore the significance and contemporary relevance of the 'Berlin Socrates', as Heinrich was also known. The findings will be of interest not only to scholars of religion, but also to those engaged in cultural studies and critical analysis of our current society. The volume is supplemented by a tabular biography of Heinrich and an essay he wrote on the history of the Berlin Institute for Religious Studies.
