Kommunalpolitik und Stadtgesellschaft in Deutschland

This volume is based on an online survey among members of administrative committees of local employment agencies, advisory boards of local job centres, youth welfare committees, foreigners' advisory boards as well as supporting bodies of local economic development corporations and agencies in Germany. The book’s evaluation focuses on the aforementioned members' assessments of the internal organisation of the committees, their legitimacy, the functions assigned to them and their influence on local politics. In addition, the evaluation provides an overview of the socio-structural composition of the boards.
