Konzernweite Matrixstrukturen

Group-wide matrix structures lead to a variety of challenges in terms of labour law. The book examines the existence of units that are eligible for works councils and shows that the common concept of an establishment predominantly leads to appropriate results even in the matrix structure. However, "virtual" matrix cells in particular can lead to a dual establishment structure. The book also focuses on the affiliation of the employees to the establishment and the works council’s participation rights in the hiring of matrix managers. The delegation of the right to issue instructions to matrix managers as well as the implementation of the matrix structure under company law and liability risks for managing directors are also discussed.
