As a result of increasing division of labour and an increase in knowledge, the significance of networking, which enables organisations to expand their knowledge and complete tasks cooperatively, is growing.
This development can also be seen in the social economy, in which the key issues are what the concept of cooperation means, what the cornerstones of successful cooperation should be, how cooperation should be managed and what ‘hard’ factors should be taken into account, for example from a business, legal and fiscal perspective.
This book examines the essential technical aspects of this field and presents their interrelations from an interdisciplinary point of view. It applies the subject’s foundations to practical examples in order to place theoretical ideas in a practical context. In doing so, the book emphasises the broad array of fields of work in which successful cooperation is important, the subject matter related to cooperation and the different forms which successful cooperation can assume.
