Krankenhausversorgung nach Corona: Wettbewerb, Planung und Finanzierung neu organisieren

In its Special Report 83 entitled "Hospital care after Corona: reorganising competition, planning and financing", the Monopolies Commission has presented analyses and concrete recommendations on the planned hospital reform. The aim of the recommendations is to properly balance competition and hospital planning in order to meet the patients' need for nationwide and high-quality hospital care. In doing so, it is also important to improve the transparency of money flows, but also of hospital quality in the interest of patients. As a result, the Monopolies Commission prefers hospital planning on the basis of so-called service groups.
