Kriminalpolitik als Zeitspiegel

The conference focused on the XI. Criminal Law Amendment Act of the People's Republic of China, whose legal amendments ranging from "gene editing" to anti-doping respond to criminal policy control require-ments that are also relevant in German criminal law. In addition to the associated issues, the conference also looked at fundamental legal problems, such as the concept of positive criminal law. It created a genu-ine comparative law perspective by having Chinese and German speakers alternate with their respective presentations on related topics and by providing space for comments from both countries in addition to each presentation. The conference proceedings are published entirely in German.
