What do our politicians really think about AI? This study provides the first structured overview on how artificial intelligence is debated in Germany’s federal parliament—between opportunities for the future and risk scenarios. Based on the plenary protocols of the 20th legislative period, Michelle Heblik conducts a qualitative content analysis that systematically examines party affiliations, tone, and discursive context. The study is aimed at politically engaged readers, students, researchers, and stakeholders in digital policy.
