Taking life as the occasion for meditation allows meditation itself to become pure life. Such practice is not bound to any theory but shows in an exemplary way that ultimately every action rests in an inner practice. This linguistic simplicity is intended to correspond to fundamental reflection, which proves to be comprehensible for every individual life. For even philosophical reflection—especially as phenomenological analysis—comes face to face with an ultimate self-givenness that can no longer be subject to any further reduction. This consequence should not be reflected upon again here for itself but should pass over into meditative affirmation.
