Let’s Plays im Spannungsfeld von Netzkultur und Urheberrecht

Let's Plays are one of the most widespread forms of user-generated content on the internet and raise a wide variety of copyright issues. This paper focuses in particular on whether Let's Plays infringe the copyright in the original work, the copyright protection of Let's Plays, and the conditions under which platforms are liable for the content posted on their sites. The provisions of the UrhDaG and the DSM-Directive, as well as their implications for user-generated content, are also a key focus of this work.
