Liang Qichao zur Rechtsgeschichte Chinas

calcActive())">
Description
This volume gives readers the first complete access in German to a still little-known part of Chinese legal and intellectual history: Liang Qichao’s legal thought. The three essays address the development of Chinese legal theory, the codification of written law and the autocratic government system. Through translation, legal-historical contextualisation and terminological guidance, the edition makes key texts of Chinese legal modernity useful for legal studies, sinology, legal history, legal philosophy and constitutional history. The translator, Dr Zhao Jing, received her doctorate from Goethe University Frankfurt and has published two German-language works on legal philosophy.
