Lobbyismus im Gesundheitswesen
Nomos, 1. Edition 2014, 137 Pages
Description
This book is about the power of lobbyists in health care and their influence on politicians and the public. It analyzes the largely unexplored and in-transparent lobbying work of the most important lobbyists in the German health care system. It shows how the lobbyists constantly adapt their lobbying strategy to changing political and social structures and processes. The organization of the lobby actors, the role of information management, and the way of disseminating information are pointed out. The increasing importance of new media and non-hierarchical controllable public communication are presented and lobbying is conceptually classified into the modern Corporatism.
