Luftsicherheit in Deutschland

The organisation and competences in the field of aviation security in Germany are fragmented. In order to develop proposals for a possible reform of the organisation and performance of tasks, the current system of aviation security was comprehensively analysed with special regard to passenger and baggage controls. For this purpose, the current situation was recorded and compared with the situation in other countries. The study took into account the perspectives of all relevant stakeholders in the field of aviation security (e.g. aviation security authorities, airport operators, airlines, aviation security companies). Based on these results, possible reform proposals were developed.
