Metatheorien im Studium der Sozialen Arbeit

Is it theoretical diversity or theoretical confusion? This book explores how social work students understand the metatheories of their subject. Following an introduction to the discourse on metatheories and their development based on literature, the author uses empirical research conducted at the Münster department of the Catholic University of Applied Sciences NRW to shed light on the role metatheories play for students. The results provide valuable insights into teaching and the conceptual positioning of metatheories in social work studies.
