This volume analyses the cooperation of the client in construction contracts according to VOB/B and BGB. This is done against the background of practical experience. The focus is on the handling of large construction projects, in which the phase between conclusion of the contract and acceptance typically extends over several years and in which the tension between planning and execution is considerable. The focus is on the dogmatic classification of individual acts of cooperation by the client against the background of case law. This is followed by a discussion of the contractor's options for responding to the client's lack of cooperation, late cooperation or cooperation.
