Modernisierung der Missbrauchsaufsicht für marktmächtige Unternehmen

Developments in the digital economy, such as the increasing importance of data as a critical source of input for production and distribution processes and of digital platforms, are posing new challenges for competition law. This study was commissioned by the German Ministry of Economics and analyses whether the German and European laws on competition are well-suited to dealing with these challenges in an effective and timely manner. It also analyses various competition law reform options and develops proposals for changes to competition law regarding the abuse of market power.
