Monitoring des Vorhabenträgers im Naturschutzrecht

In environmental law, monitoring replaces more and more public surveillance with self-surveillance of the project promoter. The author illustrates the legal relations between the administration and the project promoter and analyses how environmental risks can be regulated and how the monitoring can generate ecological knowledge. Whilst taking into account legal practice and ecological science, the author demonstrates how the monitoring can be seen as an object of an administrative concept and if the monitoring can already be classified as an independent type of action.
